3 good habits to follow while job searching.

Job search is a period or a phase if we may call it so that gives you time for yourself. While you are on a 'Apply for the new job" spree, you can allow yourself some good time to examine the past and look into the future. Thus, you get ample amounts of time in order to form few good habits. Although, there are innumerable good habits that can help you in self growth , we will focus on the 3 good habits that will make your job search less hectic and more fruitful. Sounds great? Let's see what we have in here for the amazing you:

1. Wake up early in the morning:

Specially for the astounding nightowls reading this article, even you got to start with this habit of waking up at 6 A.M. Now you may ask, why is this force? It is because almost all of the recruiters look at your resume during their official work hours i.e from 9:30 A.M. to 5 P.M. Thus, dropping off your resume or CV in between 6:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M (or say a little later than that works too), you will have an advantage over other candidates. Well! Unless your competitor candidates are reading this too right now ;)

Also, this will give out a very positive message to your recruiters and dream company that you will be punctual at work. The chances of getting an interview call just with this wake up when the birds start chirping, gets 70% higher.

And parents? Will they be happy? They will be beaming with their love for you!
2. Keep your account on LinkedIn active: Post daily on LinkedIn:

A professional networking site adds up to your benefit as your recruiters will always try to find you on LinkedIn if they like your resume. For them to like your resume, it is very important for you to get a professional resume for a better presentation of what value you can add to the company you are applying for. The benefit of a professional resume is also that it will lead them in a scientific way towards the reasons of why they should hire you and not the other candidate.

So, once you get your resume or CV professionally designed by our experts, you have to make sure your LinkedIn profile is upto date. Please remember! LinkedIn, Behance or any other professional platform for that matter is like the neighbour who can tell everything about you. So, make sure you have enough postings done there to showcase your talent, knowledge and approach in your field.

We will definitely talk about the role of LinkedIn in our job search in the next blog post.
3. Eat lot of green vegetables and drink lots of water:

Omg! Now who suggests that? Only well wishers and at Draft Over Services we are very much concerned about the candidates' health. We also support our candidates throughout their job search with the support system of professional resume, job hunting and counseling here at #DraftOver.

Alright so, eating green vegetables keeps your heart healthy, meaning it will pump sufficient amount of blood aka oxygen and you will feel less sleepy. Drinking atleast 4 litres of water every day makes keeps you hydrated and keeps sickness away. Who would like to get sick while searching for their dream job? Isn’t it?
