Online Interview Tips Part 2

Welcome to the part two of our experts tips to make that long lasting and winning impression on your recruiter during the online interview.
This time, we will be taking an intensive approach to cracking that dream interview. So, let's begin?

1.Personality Analysis

Go ahead and do your research on LinkedIn about your recruiter or find someone in your network who knows the person. Mostly, the aim must be to try and fetch the recruiter's presence on professional networking sites like LinkedIn.

So what do we do with the recruiter's social networking account? We go through an in-depth analysis of the posts, the people in his network, is he fun or a serious personality? Find it out. This 15 minutes to 20 minutes of research may change your fate. The research you do will give you a glimpse of her/their/his professional life. This will help match the frequency during the online call. It is very important because when we are in a face to face interview set up, the energy is exchanged. This becomes impossible in case of an online interview.

2.On the spot wit

"Online interview" is the product of the new normal. Recruiters look for candidates who are smart. You can impress or get the job even if your response is a little delayed because there is a lot of understanding when you are face to face. But, the moment you step into the world of an online interview, it is very much different.

The moments of silence during an online interview is very dangerous and you may lose the key to your bright future at a snap. You need to be very confident and witty.

3.Try to have a conversation

We say to students during exams: " Do not take pressure, write it like you wrote your class test, all the best", we wanted to tell you: " Please do not come under any kind of pressure during that online interview, talk as if you are calling a friend and discussing an opportunity"
Let us decode our request that we just made to you above:

You have to be very cool and smart at reading the inside codes during each passing second of the interview on video call. Be in your comfort zone and imagine it to be a chilled out conversation with a friend on the other side. Try to transform the interview into a discussion
